After the cancellation of the planned round in Brazil, the Wilvo Forkrent KTM team made the modest trip to Italy to the replacement venue at Mantova for the FIM Motocross World Championship MXGP of Lombardia. With MXGP rider Jake Nicholls still not fully recovered from his back injury sustained in Latvia meant it was down to lone rider, Adam Sterry to fly the flag for the team as a wild card entry in the MX2 class.

What a week. The Grand Prix of Belgium winner had barely twenty-four hours to celebrate his conquest of the Lommel sand before he was traversing the Atlantic and to the famed circuit of Unadilla to make his debut in the 2015 Lucas Oil AMA Motocross Pro National Championship as a wild-card at round ten of twelve. For Shaun it was realisation of a small career dream just one week after taking his first 1-1 GP victory.

KTM UK rider David Knight had a successful weekend in Wales, with a third and a very close second at rounds 5 and 6 of the British Enduro Championship held at Knighton. Slowly getting back up to speed and regaining his fitness, Knighter rode a very strong two days on his 450 KTM EXC.

Daniel Drayton reports his weekend at Thruxton. Thruxton was the second Race meeting on the KTM RC390 for me, and again this was a track I had never been to nor ridden before. So I took in a few track walks and must thank Steve Plater, Pete Hickman and Georgina Polden for their advice.

Jonathan Rea (KRT) secured his 12th race win of the year in the first 16-lap FIM Superbike World Championship contest at Sepang in Malaysia, and followed it up with a near win in race two to keep his podium run going through all 20 races in the season so far. Tom Sykes (KRT) led race one for some time but dropped down to an eventual fifth place, while he scored 14th place in a drama-laden race two.
