The Smiths Triumph Racing Team overcame a tough first day of the 2014 Motorpoint British Supersport Championship at Brands Hatch this Easter weekend to end up with Graeme Gowland and Billy McConnell taking hard earned podium places in today's second race.

Double points for Cooper at Brands Hatch opener. The Anvil Hire TAG Racing team enjoyed two promising points scoring finishes in their debut British Superbike Championship outing at the tight and twisty Brands Hatch Indy circuit.

A stunning performance from KRT Superbike riders Tom Sykes and Loris Baz gave the team a historic 1-2 finish in each 17-lap race at Motorland Aragon, with Sykes winning from Baz each time out. David Salom gritted his teeth to finish 13th in race one and 10th in race two on his Evo KRT machine. Tom and Loris now lead the championship outright, with Tom on 75 points and Loris on 71.

Pata Honda rider Jonathan Rea visited the Motorland Aragon podium for the first time after finishing third in today’s opening second-round race of the 2014 World Superbike championship in Spain. It was the 34th World Superbike podium of the 27-year-old British rider’s career after he battled throughout the 17-lap opener to finish behind the Kawasaki machines of Tom Sykes and Loris Baz. Rea was unable to repeat his podium performance in race two, crossing the line in fifth place after a softer front tyre option left him with a loss of feeling from the front end of his Pata Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade.
HRC Honda Racing's Bobryshev recovering after Trentino crash

During his crash in the second race of the MXGP of Trentino, Evgeny Bobryshev was hit from behind whilst on the floor and received a large impact to his lower back. After an initial check-up at the track’s medical centre, he was taken to hospital for further routine checks, but these have now revealed that there is no serious injury.
