(January 17, 2015) - Troy Lee Designs/Lucas Oil/Red Bull/KTM's Jessy Nelson fought his way to a sixth-place finish after a rollercoaster Western Regional 250SX Class Main Event from Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California. Teammate Shane McElrath won his first-career Heat Race, and worked his way back from a crash to finish 10th in the Main Event.

Hitachi Construction Machinery UK KTM wrapped the 2014 FIM Motocross World Championship with star rider Shaun Simpson cursing his luck at the last possible stage of the GP campaign. The Scot placed fourteenth overall at the Grand Prix of Leon, the seventeenth and final round of the year, after a second race crash led to a DNF and he rested in seventh place for the season in what was a close battle for the last slot in the top five of the MXGP standings.

A final bow in front of European race fans for Hitachi Construction Machinery UK KTM this year saw Shaun Simpson achieve the distinction of earning podium trophies in both MX2 and the premier class of the FIM Motocross World Championship for the team as the Scot claimed an impressive third position overall at the Grand Prix of Belgium.
