Monster Energy Dixon Racing Team Kawasaki’s Max Anstie played a key role in a memorable 2015 British Grand Prix by leading almost all of the first moto around the distinctive curves of the Matterley Basin circuit. Relishing the support and enthusiasm of a passionate 35,000-strong home following, Anstie gathered fifth position overall and was again close to his first podium honours in MX2 this term.

Following a tough round previously in Spain for the Wilvo Forkrent KTM Team, both Steven Frossard and Adam Sterry were looking for a good weekend at the MXGP of Great Britain, especially Sterry at his home GP. Spectator numbers doubled from last year’s event at Matterley Basin adding to the great atmosphere and providing fantastic support for the British riders.

It was a challenging weekend for the Heads and All Threads Suzuki team at the seventh round of the Motocross Grand Prix at the weekend, with Graeme Irwin finishing 21st in MXGP and Harri Kullas also 21st in MX2 at Matterley Basin.

Tyla Rattray retained his top ten series ranking with a first moto eighth for the Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team in the British round of the FIM World MXGP Motocross Championship.
