The fifth round of the Maxxis British Championship visited the Blaxhall circuit near Ipswich. This was the first time the venue had been used for this prestigious championship and it was an excellent choice. The circuit was very well prepared and the facilities exceeded many other venues.

For round ten of the FIM Motocross World Championship, the Wilvo Forkrent KTM team travelled to Teutschenthal for the German MXGP and round five of the European Motocross Championship with both Steven Frossard and Adam Sterry competing respectively in each championship.

Max Anstie at last was able to capitalise on a holeshot, win a moto and walk the MX2 podium by going 8-1 across the hard-pack of Teutschenthal for the Grand Prix of Germany and the tenth MXGP meeting of the season for the Monster Energy Dixon Racing Team Kawasaki crew.

Hitachi Construction Machinery Revo KTM UK packed away their racing set-up at Teutschenthal for the Grand Prix of Germany content having obtained solid if unspectacular results in the MXGP and MX2 categories. Shaun Simpson was seventh overall in the premier class while Ben Watson took his 250SX-F to seventeenth and points in both MX2 outings.

After a solid start to the Canadian Motocross season at the first two rounds in British Columbia, the Monster Energy Thor Kawasaki team rolled into the prairie city of Calgary, Alberta for round three, with the red plates of points leader on Brett Metcalfe’s Kawasaki KX450F.
